Advent 2010
Our first Sunday of Advent. I hope and pray my children will take all the things we have taught them with them to their new homes when they get married. The first candle is the Prophecy Candle and reminds us that Jesus' coming was prophesied hundreds of years before He was born. The candle's purple color represents Christ's royalty as the King of Kings. The Bible reading that goes with the first candle is Isaiah 9:2-6 and Luke 1:30-35.

May we all remember Christ every day and all day as we go about His business.
